APPS AND CUSTOMER PORTALS

Twelve unfinished features don’t add up to one useful app.

Start with one task a person can finish. A client checks progress. A driver records a trip. A team reviews the right file. We build around that job, then agree on what belongs in the first version—and what does not.

WHAT YOUR APP CAN HELP PEOPLE DO

01

Finish the main task

Name the user, task and what counts as finished. Build that journey first; agree what is included and what can wait.

02

Find the current information

A customer portal can bring project updates, documents, deliverable reviews and approvals into one place. Choose the functions your actual workflow needs; they are not all included by default.

03

Record work where it happens

Build around the steps your field staff, drivers or technicians follow, with an interface suited to their phones and larger screens.

04

Give each person the right access

Define who can view, change and approve each kind of record, then test those boundaries. Include how access changes when people join or leave.

EXAMPLE WORKFLOW

From scattered files to a recorded approval.

Before: a client comments on an attachment, while the team edits a different version.

After: the client opens the project, reviews the current file, and leaves a note or approval. The team can see which version was reviewed and what happens next.

This is an illustrative workflow, not a claim about a deployed customer system. Your agreed scope defines the functions in your app.

WHAT TO BRING

Tell us who the app is for, the first task they need to finish, and where the information lives today. A rough idea is enough to start a conversation; do not send real customer files through a public inquiry.

The first version is not every feature, every integration or every platform. We agree on supported devices, data, access, connections and completion checks before building. Testing one version does not guarantee demand for the product.

What you receive: the custom application code, data structures, access setup and operating notes included in your agreement. Third-party services, account responsibilities and any ongoing support are identified separately.
